E-tickets email forwarding is a backup solution meant to accommodate the agency for a quick start. The IATA-agency will have to contact GDSs for Interface Records setup.

Setup GDSs feeds for AirBooks

Share AirBooks compatible IRs models with your GDS support. Provide them with the path to your IRs folder on AirBooks servers and get AirBooks connected to your GDS.

1. Share with your GDS support

2. Copy the link to your agency

Move to your AirBooks settings under the Integration heading and copy the link to your agency.

3. Connect AirBooks to GDS

Provide the AirBooks link to your GDS support for interface records redirection.

Implement Consolidator TO Sub-Agency feed

For each Consolidator Interface Record generated on Sub-Agency ticketing, AirBooks imports the ticket into the Consolidator database but also connects and populates the sub-agency account via IRs-Share-key.

1. Interface Records Share setup

IRs Share integration is based on the IRs-Share-Key provided by the Sub-Agency to the Consolidator to connect to its AirBooks account.

2. Sub-Agency ticketing

Interface Records files push will be triggered by Sub-Agency ticketing. As the ticket owner, the Consolidator will host the file in its IRs folder.

3. Dual ticket import

AirBooks handoff detects IRs- Share setup and creates the same Travel Item for the 2 agencies, reflecting commission share rules.

Export Journals

Export manual journals and Invoices, Credit Notes, Payments received & made, bills and expenses.

Default Accounting Rules

AirBooks general ledger auto-postings are triggered by default accounting rules. The same rules will be applied for journal export.

Setup Ledgers

Some systems group entries into ledgers and some do not. Define and save sales, purchase, cash, bank, general ledger codes, prior to exporting to Sage and other system that require this grouping.
